As the season slows and the weather starts to give a show, there is nothing better than being away on a secluded island with a fantastic couple. Jacqui and Jeff chose to have their wedding on Mackinaw Island because it signified the finish line for generations of sailors that came before them and because it was the final resting place for their grandparents, whose ashes are spread in the straights of Mackinaw.
The Island has always held a spot in their hearts and of those they love. A celebration and a launch into a new adventure together. Jacqui and Jeff are kind, genuine people, and we had a fantastic time together. They exuded an old Hollywood feel, and everything felt like a storybook. How apropos that Jane Seymour from the movie “Somewhere in Time” was on the Island at the same time as us! Here are a few images from their day!
