Married!!! I don’t even know where to begin with what a day it was! Anna and Thomas were wed on a gorgeous day at the iconic Kirk in the Hills Church, and their reception was at the beautiful Bloomfield Hills Country Club. The day promised no rain early on, and we all crossed our fingers that it would hold. The day, in typical July fashion, was a warm one, some would say downright steamy! The couple decided not to do a first look with each other and wait until the ceremony, but Anna did a touching first look with her dad instead. After the ceremony, Anna and Thomas descended out of the back of the church outside in a grand exit. Beautiful! We made our way to the club to find out that big storms were on the way, and the power in the club was out! We had just enough time to do our bridal party photos, make a grand entrance, and start speeches before the storm hit. One of the most significant storms that I’ve seen in some time roared in, the tornado sirens sounded, and the fire alarm went off all during speeches, and by the way, they were so endearing, heartfelt, and funny. Toward the end of the best man’s address, the power came back on, and everyone went nuts, cheering and waving napkins in the air! The night ended with everyone dancing and having the time of their lives.
Let me tell you, Anna and Thomas handled everything in style. Not once did they complain or let it get them down. They were graceful and collected. Their wedding was probably the most memorable occasion I’ve ever been part of. Congrats to these fantastic newlyweds! Cheers!
