Ellie and Greg were officially married last year in a small backyard ceremony due to the pandemic. They still wanted to host an extravagant affair this year to invite all of their friends and family to celebrate. The weekend was nothing short of fantastic, the weather was beautiful Ellie and Craig were in great spirits, and I’ll tell you it was such a pleasure getting to know them over the last year. I’d say the one thing the pandemic did afford us was getting closer to people, and that’s a good thing. They had their ceremony and reception at the Birmingham community house, and the vibe was Paris-inspired; they dressed to the nines. Ellie’s dress was fabulous, and Greg was dashing.
The ceremony, tented outside, was airy and bright, and the reception was in the main ballroom. A fun side note, Ellie and Greg are huge cat lovers and decided to also host a cat-tail – hour during actual cocktail hour so people could adopt a pet cat if they wanted. Super fun, kind-hearted and creative. We ended the day with a sunset stroll and dancing.
